PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a separator capable of satisfactorily separating fuel and water mixed into oil from the oil when an engine system at a low-speed and intermittent operation without preparing a heater, and an engine system having the same separator. SOLUTION: The engine system 100 has an oil circuit 20 organized by an oil pan 1, a pump 2, an oil filter 3, a gallery 4, a manifold 5, relief valves 6 and 7. The separator 10 is arranged in parallel with the oil circuit 20 via a lead-in tube 33 and lead-out tube 34, and is connected with the engine 30 via an intake tube 32. In the separator 10, a negative pressure port 12, an oil inlet 13, and an oil outlet 14 are respectively formed on an upper part 11a, a side part 11b, and a bottom part 11c of a pressure container 11, and a filter net 15 is arranged in the pressure container 11 as an intermediate layer between the oil inlet 13 and bottom part 11c.
