A three-dimensional video image processing device (100) is provided to generate a three-dimensional image with a little burden imposed on a viewer. The three-dimensional video image processing device is connected with left and right cameras (10) and (11) for photographing left and right video images, respectively, a three-dimensional display (12) for displaying a three-dimensional video image, and a watching point position measuring unit (13) for sequentially measuring points watched by user's left and right eyes. Left and right video image data input units (21) and (22) receive video images from the left and right eyes, respectively. A watching position data input unit (31) sequentially receives coordinates watched by the left and right eyes. A cutting-out width calculation processing unit (32) calculates cutting-out widths based on the coordinates watched by the left and right eyes and a previously calculated cutting-out width. A image cutting-out processing unit (23) receives the cutting-out widths from the cutting-out width calculation processing unit (32) and cuts out video images corresponding to the cutting-out widths from the left and right video images. A three-dimensional video image synthesis processing unit (24) generates a three-dimensional video image from the left and right video images and outputs it to the three-dimensional display (12).
