<p>The method involves locating a flying offensive ammunition body (4) using navigation equipments (5, 12), and determining the flight path of ammunition body. Firing place of the ammunition body is also determined. A selection processing unit (6) selects whether a defensive ammunition body (3) is fired from a main weapon (2) e.g. artillery gun, or an auxiliary weapon (7) e.g. mortar firing device, that is arranged at the main weapon. The defensive ammunition body is automatically fired according to the selection done by the unit (6). An independent claim is also included for a device for executing a method for combat of a firing device that is shooting a flying offensive ammunition body.</p> |
