A paint container 110, which may be used in a painting machine (fig 1), includes a main body 200 and a neck portion 202. The neck portion 202 has a rim 210 with an internal web 214 projecting radially inwardly from the rim 210. The internal web 214 includes an aperture 216 dimensioned such that it can receive an associated dip-tube (fig 8) and remove excess paint from the dip-tube when it is removed from the paint container 110. The dip tube may be part of the painting machine. The internal web 214 may be provided on a snap fit collar 204. The collar 204 may carry a screw thread 215 for attachment of a closure 207. The paint container 110 may have a convex base profile (502, fig 36A) such that it may receive the top of a like container 110 in a stacked arrangement. |
