<p>The gland has a lamella cage (9) with ring shaped end areas (10, 11) at both axial ends. The areas are connected with one another in an axial direction by lamella bars (13). The bars form a radially inner ward aligned curvature. The cage supports itself at the area (11), which faces a counter sleeve (3) axially against a ring seal (7). An axially aligned pressure is applied on the area (11) during screwing on the counter sleeve and during tilting of clamping tongues, such that the axial length of the cage reduces under increased curvature of the bars.</p> |
