A power conditioner and a managing method thereof are provided to implement stable power supply to a BOP(Balance Of Plant) element by using winding units of a main converter instead of directly supplying output voltage of a power source to the BOP element. A power conditioner includes a main converter(200) and an auxiliary converter(600). The main converter primarily transforms output voltage of a power source(100). The auxiliary converter secondarily transforms output voltage of the main converter into voltage supplied to a BOP element(700). The main converter has a first winding unit(W21) to transform the output voltage of the power source into voltage suitable for consumers and a second winding unit(W22) to transform the output voltage of the power source into voltage directly supplied to the BOP element without passing the auxiliary converter.
