An information center device for collecting market information and an operation method thereof are provided to perform marketing survey of a product easily at a low expense by allowing customers to use the product and making customers join in a questionnaire for the product. A customer ID generator(111) generates and transmits a customer ID to an information terminal(130) of a customer based on a user registration request of the customer information terminal. A product information storing part(112) stores product information matching the customer ID with a product ID of a product selected by a customer. The customer ID and the product ID are received from a shop device(120) through the Internet. A questionnaire unit(113) transmits a questionnaire for the product selected by the customer to the customer information terminal by using product information and collects the questionnaire from the customer information terminal. A collector(114) collects the goods and questionnaire information. The shop device includes a customer ID reader(121), a registration checking unit(122), a product ID reader(123), and a transmitter(125). |
