PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To improve the control accuracy of transmission power by finding out the distance between a mobile station and a base station from the positions of the mobile station and the base station and controlling the transmission power of the mobile station in accordance with the distance. SOLUTION: When a mobile station 3 moves in the area of a base station 2, the station 3 receives GPS signals K from individual GPS satellites 11 to 13 by a GPS receiver 31 through a GPS antenna 4. An information processing part receives the position of the mobile station 3 from the receiver 31 and checks the position of the station 3. Then the information processing part retrieves the position of a base station closest to the mobile station 3 from a data base 6 on the basis of the position of the mobile station 3 and finds out a distance L between the mobile station 3 and the base station 2 from the positions of both the stations 3, 2. A power control part determines transmission power on the basis of the distance L found out by the information processing part and controls the transmission power of a transmission part using the determined transmission power. |
