The bracket (1) has bracket straps (2, 3) including rotary bearings (4, 5), respectively, where the straps are spaced apart each other by a space, and a movable lock on one of the straps. The bearings articulate on two opposing sides of a field device e.g. radar measuring device, that is arranged in the space, such that the device is rotated between two angle positions. The lock engages the field device to resist a torque of the field device, and converts the torque to a pair of forces which are removable using one of the bearings or the lock itself.
