The exchanger (20) has a heat exchange bundle (40) for determining two channels respectively for circulation of gas and for circulation a cooling fluid, and housing inside a casing (46), where the bundle is constituted of stack of plates (42). A space is partly defined in the casing, and forms a branch (54) permitting circulation of gas without heat exchange. A last plate (52) of the bundle is provided opposite to a bottom wall (50) of the housing.
