A solid-state imaging device and an electronic apparatus having the solid-state imaging device are provided to fit a transparent cover and a lens holder to each other to align a lens with a solid-state imaging element irrespective of lens arrangement accuracy according to the lens holder. A solid-state imaging device(100a) includes an imaging unit(20a) and an optical unit. The imaging unit includes a solid-state imaging element(24) mounted on a substrate(21) and a transparent cover(26) placed opposite to a light-receiving face of the solid-state imaging element and apart from both sides of the solid-state imaging element. The optical unit includes at least one lens(11) which guides external light to the light-receiving face of the solid-state imaging element and a lens holder holding the lens. The transparent cover and the lens are independent of each other and the lens is mounted on the transparent cover such that the transparent cover and the lens holder are fitted to each other to align the lens with the solid-state imaging element. |
