An apparatus for changing a shift lever ratio of a manual transmission for a vehicle is provided to improve manipulation convenience of a driver by enabling a driver to change speeds by applying the same force. An apparatus for changing a shift lever ratio of a manual transmission for a vehicle includes a shift lever(10), a shift lever pushing unit(20), and a shift lever guiding unit(50). The shift lever includes a shift lever body and a slant surface, which is formed at a lower end of the shift lever body. The shift lever pushing unit is integrated with a control shaft, wherein a weight damper is integrated. During a speed shift process to a first, second, or reverse speed, the shift lever pushing unit moves along the control shaft and pushes the slant surface of the shift lever. The shift lever guiding unit guides the shift lever upwards, when the shift lever is pushed by the shift lever pushing unit.
