A heating appliance for cooking is provided to prevent heat of a heating chamber from dissipating to the outside from the back of a ceramic member. A heating appliance includes a body and a heating chamber(2) having an opening. An electric heater(3) is installed at a recessed part of the bottom of the heating chamber. A macron is provided in the heating chamber. The heating chamber is made of a steel rim. Two ceramic members(4) are rectangular type. The shape of the ceramic member has an enough size to cover a recessed part(12) in the heating chamber. An air gap(5) has a size in the range of 2mm to 6mm. The ceramic members have the same shape. A shelf(11) is integrated with the ceramic members.
