A device for decreasing closing speed of an automobile sliding door is provided to close the sliding door slowly by slowing down the sliding door through friction between a decelerating member and a friction member. A device for decreasing closing speed of an automobile sliding door comprises a checker mounting bracket, a checker(60), and a decelerating member(33). The checker mounting bracket is integrated with a roller mounting bracket(10) installed at a sliding door. The checker is a weighted material of a semicircular shape and rotates around a shaft(41) of the checker mounting bracket in a gravity direction. The decelerating member, which is installed in a guide rail(20) by the medium of a spring(32), protrudes out of a through-hole formed at the bottom of the guide rail and contacts an inclined projection(61) of a checker. |
