<p>A multi-air conditioner and a method for operating the same are provided to reduce a starting time by switching a four-way valve if at least one refrigerant pressure difference is lower than a set pressure. A method for operating a multi-air conditioner comprises the steps of: measuring a difference of the highest pressure and the lowest pressure of a refrigerant of a plurality of outdoor units at an initial stage(S130); and switching a four-way valve of the outdoor unit if at least one outdoor unit's presence is sensed, of which the measured refrigerant pressure difference is lower than a first set pressure(S150).</p> |
