<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a scheme which reduces a chance which keeps a user waiting and reduces power consumption conventionally. <P>SOLUTION: The present scheme checks whether the following event occurs immediately before a process about one time of event generation is completed. When the following event occurs, the process is shifted to a process which processes the following event immediately without performing a power supply shutdown process. A series of processes such as the stop of electric power supply to the resumption of electric power supply to various kinds of initialization processing in a power management domain can be omitted.
