<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a fish growth accelerator safe and enabling growth of culture fish at an earlier date without exposing the fish to disease when culturing the fish, and to provide a feed composition using the accelerator, and a method for producing culture fish. <P>SOLUTION: The fish growth accelerator, the feed composition using the accelerator, and a method for producing culture fish are disclosed. The fish growth accelerator comprises polyhydroxy butyric acid and lactobacillus. The lactobacillus may comprise Enterococcus faecalis NF-1011 (FERM P-12564). The fish growth accelerator is mixed with feed elements to be usable as a feed composition, enables improvement in product efficiency of the culture fish in culture industry, and reduction in ingestion consumption of the culture fish when made as a feed composition, so that the accelerator can contribute to suppression in contamination of culture environment (such as marine environment). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
