PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a building capable of forming comfortable living environment by forming highly independent living sections like a main building and an annex, even in a narrow site like the one in an urban area. SOLUTION: The building 1 includes a building main body 2 comprising a first living section 3 and a second living section 4 which are arranged on an upper floor side and a lower floor side, respectively, and are formed independently from each other, and a low-ceiling space 5 with a predetermined ceiling height which is arranged between the first living section 3 and the second living section 4. Having a plurality of airflow openings 6 facing the outdoor, the low-ceiling space 5 is open to the outdoor. Thus, the first living section and the second living section can be formed on the same site and in the same building main body in a state that the living sections are isolated from each other by the low-ceiling space, and the low-ceiling space is recognized as an outdoor space provided in the building main body.
