PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To reuse a mold for molding a porous structure whose lifetime is over. SOLUTION: The method comprises grinding the slit section, or the end surface of the block body 11, of a mold whose lifetime is over so as to flatten the end surface of the block body 11 and forming a coating layer 20 on the flattened end surface.
