<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a current measuring instrument capable of maintaining detection precision on a current even when a large current flows. <P>SOLUTION: This current measuring instrument having an annular loop core 11 forming a closed magnetic circuit around a line to be measured and for detecting a current value flowing in the line to be measured in response to a magnetic flux generated in the loop core 11 is provided with a gap 12 provided in the midway of the loop core 11, a gap opening and closing drive mechanism 13 for opening and closing the gap 12, and a gap opening and closing control means for opening the gap 12 when not using a small current detector 10 (usual operation time not carrying out control charge) in response to an operation condition. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
