AUTHENTICATION SYSTEM USING LIGHT-WEIGHT AUTHENTICATION PROTOCOL

Provided is an authentication system using a light-weight authentication protocol which can be used for authenticating radio tag data. The system includes: a secret key storage unit which stores secret key information; an inner product data generation unit which generates data used for a parity check by inner product calculation of challenge data and secret key information; a random number bit generator which generates a random bit; a control unit which performs: bit inversion control in accordance with a pseudo-random number bit string generated by the key stream based on the secret key information, control of random number bit insertion, and control of inner product data evaluation; and an output processing unit which is controlled by the control unit to execute a process serving as a communication path of bit missing, bit insertion, and bit inversion by a dual communication path according to a random number bit and output response data.
