MULTI SKIP MODE CONTROL SIGNAL GENERATOR

摘要

A multi-skip mode control signal generator is provided to reduce switching loss of a power MOSFET by using a skip section. A decoder(14) generates an inner control signal by decoding at least one mode control signal. A comparison voltage generator(13) changes a comparison voltage according to the inner control signal from the decoder. A comparator(12) compares an input feedback signal with the comparison voltage of the comparison voltage generator and generates a skip section control signals having different widths according to intensity of at least one mode control signal. The decoder includes an inverter for inverting at least one mode control signal and a NAND gate for generating the inner control signal by calculating output/input signals of the inverter in a NAND operation manner.
