PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a construction machine in which an oil level gauge is easily pulled out without manual touch to a hot portion. SOLUTION: This construction machine comprises an engine 13, a supercharger 14, an oil pan 15 in which an engine oil is reserved, and the oil level gauge 16 for measuring the amount of the engine oil in the oil pan 15. The construction machine further comprises a counterweight 12 for securing weight balance. A guide groove 17 having a sloped surface 17a so formed as to be more opened as it goes upward and capable of guiding the hand of the worker who pulls out the oil level gauge 16 is formed in the portion of the counterweight 12 opposed to the oil level gauge 16.
