PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a two-way clutch improved in durability in long-term use, and operation reliability. SOLUTION: This two-way clutch includes: a base member 10 with a shaft member 12 relatively rotatably inserted therein; a plurality of retainer members 10D erected on the base member, and arranged at equal intervals in the circumferential direction of the shaft member; piece members 16 arranged between the plurality of retainer members, and arranged movably in the radial direction of the shaft member at a predetermined distance from the circumferential surface of the shaft member; space parts 18 formed by the shaft member, the retainer members and the piece members; and rolling members 20 inserted in the space parts.
