<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a display device capable of performing threshold voltage correction operation on a time-division basis free of the risk of a failure. <P>SOLUTION: A driver performs threshold voltage correcting operation to cancel variance in threshold voltage Vth of a driving transistor, before sampling a video signal by controlling pixels 101. When the threshold voltage correcting operation is performed repeatedly more than once, on time division basis, and the voltage between the source (s) and gate (g) of the driving transistor Trd is initialized to a predetermined set voltage before first threshold voltage correcting operation. Drive transistors Trd for respective pixels 101 have variance in the threshold voltage Vth, from a minimum level to a maximum level, and the set voltage is adjusted preferably according to the maximum level of the threshold voltage Vth. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT |
