PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a gene transfer agent which can transfer a gene to a vascular endothelial cell. SOLUTION: This gene transfer agent is produced by adsorbing or complexing a peptide having an RGD sequence to a complex of a nucleic acid with a polymer obtained by introducing a plurality of polymer chains as substituents to an aromatic ring. The gene transfer agent, wherein the aromatic ring comprises a 5 to 8C aromatic, monoring or condensed ring.
