The cell (2) has a heat-conductive shell (7) i.e. casing, enclosing the cell and extending in a longitudinal direction, where the thickness of the heat-conductive shell is variably thick in a circumferential direction. The shell is formed for dissipating heat from the cell in the longitudinal direction. The shell with the hexagonal outer contour is provided on a layer perpendicular to the longitudinal axis. An independent claim is also included for a cell combination of battery cells.
