<p>The invention is a new device for inserting a venous or arterial catheter, comprising a container, wherein a needle and a plunger, both axially perforated, can slide axially, a dilator solidly attached to said container at the end from which the needle emerges, with a cursor on the outside of said container that is solidly attached to said plunger, said cursor containing one or more channels giving access to the inside of the needle, wherein the external openings in said channels are closed by a membrane and/or a plug and/or a syringe to prevent air from penetrating the device or the patient's blood from leaking out when said needle is inserted in the patient's blood vessel.</p> |
