The protection plug has a clamping element arranged at a side of a base, and a sleeve-like anchor part (1), in which a support part (2) is inserted contactlessly below an intermediate layer of damming material. Contact surfaces of the anchor part and/or the support part are formed to be structured to the damming material. A supporting disk (9) is in combination with a damming disk (10) and is detachably fastened to the support part, where the damming material is provided between the anchor part and the support part. Elastomers are used as the damming material.
