PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To stably destroy a sub frame mounting part in a head-on collision, while sufficiently reinforcing rigidity of the sub frame mounting part by a rear end member, when a light metal casting is used for the rear end member. SOLUTION: This vehicle body front part structure of an automobile is constituted by fixing both end parts of front and rear sides of the sub frame 7 to front end lower parts of a pair of right and left front side frames 6 extending from a dashboard 2 to the front and a rear end member 5 connected to rear ends of the front side frames 6 with each of a front part bolt 8 and a rear part bolt 9. The rear end member 5 is constituted of the light metal casting. At a bottom wall 10 of the rear end member 5, a vertical direction boss 12 in which the rear part bolt 8 is screwed and fastened and a plurality of reinforcing ribs 13 for connecting an outer peripheral surface of the boss 12 to the bottom wall 10 are integrally formed.
