摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a collision-predicting device capable of accurately predicting from an earlier stage a collision position where a collision with an obstacle occurs. SOLUTION: A collision-predicting device 1 has a collision-predicting ECU 20 which controls the device. To the collision-predicting ECU 20, an obstacle detection sensor 10, a steering angle sensor 11, and a wheel speed sensor 12 are connected. The collision-predicting ECU 20 includes a vehicle-track predicting portion 21, which calculates a traveling track of a vehicle; an obstacle-track predicting portion 22, which calculates a moving track of an obstacle; a collision predicted position obtaining portion 23, which obtains a collision predicted position based on the traveling track of the vehicle and the moving track of the obstacle; a divided region setting portion 24, which divides the contour line of the vehicle into a plurality of divided regions according to angles made by the traveling track of the vehicle and the moving track of the obstacle in such a way that the area of each region reflected on a straight line perpendicular to the moving track of the obstacle is equalized; and a collision judgment portion 25, which judges a divided region where the collision with the obstacle is predicted according to the number of collision predicted positions included in the divided regions.
