摘要 PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a rotation angle detecting device capable of computing rotation angle information without counting periodic signal itself for segmented processing, saving cost of a synthetic means as hardware, and attempting to shorten computation time in order to process partition calculation requiring division at a clip. SOLUTION: Rotation information of a rotary disk 1 is detected by detecting means 3a and 3b to output two periodic signals of phase differences of 90 degrees as one set at two positions, the two sets of periodic signals are converted into digital signal at a fixed time interval by analog-to-digital conversion means 5a and 5b, and the two sets of periodic signals are binarized by binarization means 6a and 6b. Initial-rise and fall-down of each binarized signal are counted by counting means 8a and 8b, the two counted results are summed up by an adding means 9, and finally, the output from the detecting means 3a and 3b are averaged by a digital signal processing means 7 based on the analog-to-digital conversion values and counted results.
