FIELD: transport.SUBSTANCE: invention relates to driving aid device. Claimed device comprises the vehicle turn actuator state, imager, solid object detector and detection area updating means. Claimed process includes the steps whereat the imaging is performed in the preset ranges. Said range includes the determination areas preset at left rear and right rear of the vehicle. A solid object is detected in said detection areas. Note here that the primary vehicle turn state is detected to get the image in the present range. The vehicle right behind the primary vehicle is detected in the detection areas on the bird's eye view.
