<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an air conditioner updating and changing a control program in a short period of time, and also to provide an indoor machine of the air conditioner. <P>SOLUTION: Whether a writing machine is connected to a terminal for connection of an outdoor machine disposed in an indoor machine is determined (S12) when a power source is on (S11), and the indoor machine performs communication with the writing machine to acquire the control program for rewriting (S13), when the writing machine is connected (S12:YES).
