<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an easy-to-manufacture optical transmission member and its manufacturing method. <P>SOLUTION: The optical transmission member 10 includes a core layers 13 that are formed using an ultraviolet-curing resin and clad layers 12, 14 that are arranged in a manner enclosing the core layers 13, formed of the ultraviolet-curing resin and that have a lower refractive index than the core layers 13. Also, the ultraviolet-curing resin is a resin type that is cured with ultraviolet lights, in a wavelength band different from that of communication light to be used. Furthermore, the plurality of core layers 13 are spaced at a prescribed interval, while the clad layers 12, 14 enclose altogether the core layers 13 that are arranged in plurality. <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT</p> |
