In an image forming apparatus, papers are taken in one by one using an auto document feeder (ADF) provided with a media sensor to determine the type of papers and successively carried to the reading position while the type of the papers are determined and displayed on the control panel. By inputting the type of image forming media corresponding to the type being displayed from the control panel, an image is formed at a desired image quality. |
