The vehicle roof has roof opening in fixed roof surfaces (10,12) and a cover (16) partially closes or uncovers roof opening, and is present by its rear surface over fixed roof surface. Locking element (26) is provided on both side of the cover near the rear edge and also besides the rear edge of the roof opening. A locking element (24) coupled with the adjustable mechanics is provided on both side of the cover.
