<P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide an emergency earthquake prompt report system which can be constructed at low cost, without delay in information due to arithmetic processings, and so on. <P>SOLUTION: A center apparatus includes an arithmetic processing means 10 for operating earthquake prediction information, such as, the time of arrival, seismic intensity from emergency earthquake prompt reports and an audio means 11 for converting the earthquake prediction information into an audio signal and transmits a first carrier wave for placing the audio signal of the earthquake prediction information thereon, and a second carrier wave for placing a control signal thereon through a CATV cable to a receiving terminal device as different carrier waves at different frequencies. In the receiving terminal device 1, the audio signal and the control signal are demodulated and received by an audio signal receiving means and a control signal receiving means which are different receiving means, respectively.
