PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a membrane separation device in which a membrane filtering unit can easily be charged/discharged to/from a treatment tank, and also the posture of the membrane filtering unit can be prevented from becoming unstable caused by the action of buoyancy. SOLUTION: In the membrane separation device provided with a membrane filtering unit 5 dipped into raw water of an aeration tank 4 and separating away impurities included in the raw material, the upper part of the membrane filtering unit 5 and the upper parts of the side walls 38 in the aeration tank 4 are connected with supporting members composed of unit side braces 36, tank wall side braces 39 and a turnbuckle 45, and the membrane filtering unit 5 is held in the raw water of the aeration tank 4.
