摘要 <P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To measure and control temperature of a battery cell mounted on a vehicle in a simple structure. <P>SOLUTION: A battery for travelling has a series connected structure in which 40 battery modules are lined up and connected in series by arranging long sides of the battery modules where six of rectangular parallelepiped battery cells are lined up and connected in series by arranging short sides of the battery cells. A battery ECU executes a program including a step of detecting and memorizing temperature of 240 battery cells by making a thermistor move by means of a two-dimensional servo mechanism, a step S2010 of reading out battery temperature, steps S2020 to S2040 of setting up as concentrating monitoring cells in which a cell with the maximum temperature is an abnormal temperature cell A and a cell with the maximum temperature rise is an abnormal temperature cell B, and a step S2100 of executing battery temperature abnormality processing when temperature of the cell A or cell B becomes abnormal (YES at a step S2090). <P>COPYRIGHT: (C)2008,JPO&INPIT
