<p><P>PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a wood crushing bit with improved crushing efficiency of wood as waste. <P>SOLUTION: The wood crushing bit comprises a bit body 28 formed by providing a roughly spindle-like head part 27 at the end part of a shaft 25 via a flange 26, and a roughly plate-like carbide body 30 mounted on a recessed part 29 formed at the end part of the head part 27 of the bit body 28.
