The method involves connecting a brake circuit with a high-pressure area of a pressurizing medium pump (7) at an inlet-side of a hydraulic wheel brake (2, 3) for generating pressure. The brake circuit is connected with an actuating unit (1) over a separating valve (6), which is closed by applying closing current. Dynamic pressure is generated by the actuating unit while opening the separating valve. Another closing current is applied to the separating valve, where the latter current is smaller than the former current. An independent claim is also included for a controller for generating dynamic pressure in hydraulic wheel brakes.
