PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To confirm the finish of an image at a specified part by designating a part which is desired to be confirmed specially selectively by a user in order to confirm the finish condition of the image in the case of copying the image of the original. SOLUTION: In the case of copying the image of the original 1001, it does not matter whatever part is confirmed as a part where image density is confirmed if the density is uniform in all the area. However, assuming that a part to which attention is paid especially is about 4th or 5th line from the top, such a part is designated and an image starting position is designated in order to confirm the image density. By copying the image equivalent to length 1004 from a part descended by length shown by a mark 1003 from the leading edge of the image of the original 1001 as shown by a mark 1002, the image density is confirmed. In such confirmation, the starting position is designated from a ten-key group by depressing a trial copying key, designating that the image should be confirmed, and further depressing an image starting position designating key. |
