PROBLEM TO BE SOLVED: To provide a mobile terminal which saves on time and labor for a user when switching a display means to be used for viewing a predetermined display and is improved in operability and convenience. SOLUTION: When an opening/closing detection part 14 detects that a mobile telephone set 100 is folded, a control part 1 outputs image data from a first memory 4 to a second display driver part 7, displays an image on a second display part 9, and turns on a second back light 11. The control part 1 invalidates the input of a first shutter button 13a and validates the input of a second shutter button 13b. When the opening/closing detection part 14 detects that the mobile telephone set 100 is not folded, on the other hand, the control part 1 outputs the image data from the first memory 4 to a first display driver part 6, displays the image on a first display part 8, and turns on a first back light 10.
