PLASMA DISPLAY PANEL AND METHOD OF MANUFACTURING THE SAME

A plasma display panel and a manufacturing method thereof are provided to improve the durability of an electromagnetic shielding layer by weaving metal wires to form the electromagnetic shielding layer. A front panel and a rear panel are prepared, and then the front panel and the rear panel are bonded to each other. An electromagnetic shielding layer of a mesh pattern which is made by weaving metal wires(M) is formed on the front panel. The electromagnetic shielding layer is formed by weaving the metal wires and pressing the metal wires. A height(h2) of the electromagnetic layer positioned at a portion(a), in which the metal wires are intersected, is higher than a height(h1) of the electromagnetic shielding layer positioned at the other portion(b).
