A joint structure for a squib and a connector in an air bag inflator is provided to secure the connector in lateral and vertical directions by inserting a guide formed on the connector into a guide hole formed in a shunt of the squib and then rotating the connector. A joint structure for a squib(20) and a connector(10) in an air bag inflator comprises a guide hole(22) formed in a shunt(21) of the squib and a guide(11) formed at an edge of a connection portion of the connector. A knob(12) is projected from an outer circumference of the guide. A knob groove(23) is formed in an inner surface of the guide hole. The knob groove includes a first section groove formed in a longitudinal direction of the shut, a second section groove formed in a circumferential direction and a third section groove formed in the longitudinal direction.
