The handpiece (3) has in a front part a tool (6), with a clamping sleeve (26) for the admission of the tool. The handpiece has a carrier case (25) in which the clamping sleeve is arranged. A drive component (8a) is in drive connection with interior camp elements, located on the carrier case with external bearing elements and also between the interior elements and the external bearing elements rolling members (38) are present. The interior elements are formed by a one-piece interior bearing sleeve (27) which is fastened on the carrier case and which carries the drive component.
