A method and a system for discounting a parking fare of a hospital are provided to maximize use convenience, and simply/easily calculate and collect the discounted parking fare of the patient without requiring guide or attention from a user using a parking lot of the hospital. A ticket issuer(10) automatically issues a parking ticket including entrance information. A medical treatment system(20) includes a database storing parking fare discount information of each medical treatment type, and a processor detecting the parking fare discount information from a prescription or a medical treatment receipt. A calculator(30) includes an information input part reading information from the parking ticket, and the prescription or the medical treatment bill, the database storing the parking fare discount information and parking fare calculation data, and a parking fare calculator. The parking fare calculator calculates/collects the non-discounted parking fare according to a parking time when only the information read from the parking ticket is received, and calculates/collects the discounted parking fare according to a parking time when the information read from the parking ticket, and the prescription or the medical treatment receipt are received. |
