A terminal device and a displaying method for the same are provided to display images, which are mainly selected by a user, preferentially, even though the terminal device needs to display more images than the maximum number of simultaneously displayed images, thereby reducing the inconvenience of the user of performing a scrolling operation to select an image. An information image-providing unit(302) outputs a plurality of information images such that the information images are arranged in consideration of the number of times which each of the information images is selected. A display image-processing unit(304) generates a display image by using the plurality of information images inputted from the information image-providing unit. A display image-displaying unit(306) receives and displays the display image from the display image-processing unit. A controller controls an operation of at least one of the information image-providing unit, the display image-processing unit, and the display image-displaying unit.
