In a voice output device (201), for the purpose of defining the difference between voices from two sound producing units to enhance a feeling of reality, a storage unit (202) stores voice information and volume coefficients of two sound producing units moving in a virtual space, a distance calculating unit (203) calculates respective distances between a marked points and the sound producing units, a change rate calculating unit (204) calculates change rates at which the volumes of voices from the sound producing units change as they are away respective distances, an amplification factor calculating unit (205) calculates, for a sound producing unit having a larger volume coefficient, an amplification factor that is larger than its change rate and calculates, for a sound producing unit having a smaller volume coefficient, an amplification factor that is smaller than its change rate, and a mixing/outputting unit (206) amplifies elements of voice information corresponding to respective sound producing units by amplification factors respectively calculated for respective sound producing unit and outputs voice obtained by adding the amplified results. |
